Kirsty's Cottage provides bed and breakfast accommodation in the heart of Ross Village, Tasmania. It is operated by The Ross Village Bakery (Original Wood-fired c1860)
Kirsty's cottage has three bedrooms. The master and third bedroom have a queen-size bed, the second room has two single beds. There is a fully equipped kitchen and laundry facilities. The shared bathroom has a two-way entrance, enabling it to be accessed as an ensuite from the master bedroom. Kirsty's Cottage has been in constant use for over 120 years as a private home, gift shop and more recently a coffee shop. It is of timber construction with the main rooms entirely timber lined, including the ceilings.
Relax and enjoy a tea or coffee with your complimentary plate of 'bakery goodies' on arrival. A sumptuous breakfast of cereals, fruit, yoghurt, croissants and hot woodfired sourdough bread is served at The Bakery. In a central location, it's an easy walk to the historic Ross Bridge.
The cottage was built in 1880 and is about a one-hour-and-15-minute drive north of Hobart (121 km). Guest need to check in at the Ross Bakery.
