2013 State of the State - Shaping Tasmania 2030
CEDA’s annual State of the State provides a platform for the government of the day to brief the business community on their policy priorities for the year ahead. This year’s forum takes on additional significance as both the Tasmanian Government and Opposition will soon move into full election mode.
What is the vision of both major parties for the future of Tasmania? How will they improve economic growth and arrest the state’s decline across a whole range of economic indicators? How will a federal Liberal Government impact their long term plans?
The forum will also bring together a range of business leaders to lend their voice to the vision of where Tasmania would like to be in 2030 – how to build a knowledge economy in the State and grow sectors like tourism and dairy that will underpin solid economic expansion in the years to come.
