The Balfour Burn is Tasmania's steepest urban hill climb.
The Burn is a major fundraiser for the 6674 children who rely on children's disability service StGiles.
The Balfour Street hill has a 23 degree grade over 420m. It is located in the heart of the Launceston CBD.
Balfour Burn has ten divisions that include pram push, dog walk, cycle, elite run or the Hill of Hurt - obstacle course.
Registration is available on the StGiles website or from 7.30am on the day.
First race is the pram push at 9am and last race of the day is the Hill of Hurt at noon.
The Balfour Street precinct is in the heart of the Launceston's cafe culture with a variety of bars, cafes and burger joints.
