TasTAFE Drysdale's Great Chefs Series 2017 - Launceston
Between the months of March and August 2017, TasTAFE Drysdale presents the 'Great Chefs Series' in Launceston and Hobart. The series is an opportunity for some of the most influential culinary minds on the planet to mentor, coach and collaborate with the developing talent within the Tasmanian hospitality industry and TasTAFE Drysdale using Tasmanian produce.
TasTAFE Drysdale students across the Cookery, Hospitality, Tourism and Events program areas will enjoy an educational experience that will culminate in working with each 'Great Chef' to deliver a degustation dinner for the public. Each dinner is partnered with some of the finest cool climate sparkling, still and fortified wines from Tasmania's world class wineries.
The Launceston line-up includes world-class international chefs Alain Passard, Dominique Crenn and Christian Puglisi (March and April) along with Australian chefs Guillaume Brahimi, David Moyle (April and May), Phil Wood and Mike McEnearney (July and August).
After participating in the series in Launceston in 2016, Jacques Reymond and Mark Best will team up with TasTAFE Drysdale to offer Great Chefs degustation dinners in Hobart for the first time in 2017.
TasTAFE Drysdale looks forward to welcoming you to our Great Chefs dinners in 2017!
