Tasmanian International Beerfest
Tasmanian Beerfest featuring hundreds of boutique and craft beers from Tasmania, Australia and the world to taste returns to Hobart’s waterfront this November.
The two day event will again be held in the Princes Wharf No. 1 shed, the home of the Tastes of Tasmania Festival.
Princes Wharf transforms into Australia’s biggest waterfront beer garden. It is a great opportunity for beer lovers to learn more about beer, meet brewers, find out more about commercial and home brewing at the brewing information sessions, participate in one of the free beer master classes. The public can taste beer, ranging from Tasmanian varieties, to English bitters, ales and the oldest beers in the world (from Belgium), accompanied by great local food. Tasmania’s top musicians will showcase their talents throughout the festival. A home brew competition will also be held.
The Tasmanian Beerfest is a family friendly event. Those underage are welcome, accompanied by a parent or guardian – entry for children is free.
