Emu Valley Rhododendron Garden
The Emu Valley Rhododendron Garden is a stunning 11-hectare garden featuring over 22,000 select rhododendrons and companion plants. Just a ten-minute drive south of Burnie in Tasmania's North West, the Garden creates a spectacular display between August and February each year.
As well as hybrid rhododendrons, you'll find many wild species planted to reflect their geographical origins including from Asia Minor, China, Japan and North America
There are a range of walks through the Garden and platypus, echidna and a diverse range of bird species are routinely sighted.
The Garden is open from 9am - 5pm daily except for Christmas Day and Good Friday. Admission fee applies. Accompanied children are admitted free of charge.
