    • Historic Richmond Village has a colonial jail built in 1825, five years before Port Arthur settlement, and now a museum. Richmond is also home to Australia’s oldest bridge, built by convict labour between 1823 and 1825.

      Richmond has many galleries and boutiques selling a wide range of quality arts and crafts, also a maze, and a large and detailed model of old Hobart Town.

    • Guided tour by lantern light. Listen to tales from the settlement's past and hear stories about the sightings of Port Arthur's more ethereal residents! This full convict experience includes an evening Port Arthur Ghost Tour, plus a visit to Richmond historic Village

      We visit Bonorong Wildlife Park and meet some of the native wildlife; Tasmanian devils, wombats, wedge tail eagles and quolls.

      Option to visit a vineyard in the Huon Valley. Three walks are offered at Tahune, including two swing bridges, tree-top 40 metres above ground and Huon Pine river exploration. A wander through Geeveston on return is a must.

    • Enjoy a day spent sampling Tasmanian wines. The Coal River Valley and Huon Valley are home to both large-scale commercial and boutique family-owned wineries, with palate tempting selections to please the connoisseur and novice taster alike.

      We specialise in social / corporate and pre-wedding groups up to 12, with option of picnic lunch at Puddleduck Vineyard or Richmond Historic Village at one of the many eateries.

Enjoy the thermal pool, platypus rainforest walk and one of Australia’s most spectacular caves. Call in at Peppermint Bay, driving through Cygnet, a popular cottage craft town. Drive back via Shot Tower at Taroona.

      Pick-up is from your ship at an arranged time. This tour gives as much variety as possible for an eight hour visit to Hobart.

      Travel to Mt Field National Park and experience a comfortable 40-minute walk through rainforest. Then enjoy an up close encounter with a Tasmanian Devil and other Tasmanian wildlife with your own personal guide at Bonorong Wildlife Park.

      Visit Richmond Historic Village for refreshments, wander amongst Georgian history, including the oldest bridge, Catholic Church and Gaol in Australia. Locally made crafts and antique shops abound.

      A family-owned vineyard is an option, where the hospitality and quality of wine are equal.

      Your perfect day finishes with a tour of Battery Point, followed by a tour of Hobart’s newest homes high above the river where a perfect photo of your ship can be taken to top off your visit to Hobart.
