Waterside Accommodation - Derwent Retreat

Derwent Retreat is a self-contained waterfront holiday house at Austins Ferry, in Tasmania's South most suitable for large groups and owners with travelling pets.

Set on the banks of the River Derwent, it features privacy, absolute waterfront and views. All main rooms have view of the river and Mt Direction and the property is ideal for business or pleasure visits.

Derwent Retreat is fully furnished and accommodates up to eleven guests. The house features three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a fully-equipped kitchen, dining room, laundry, towels, linen, television and free wireless internet. The balcony has a gas barbecue and outdoor furniture making it the perfect place to relax and enjoy a meal with a magnificent view.

Fishing gear is provided, while bicycles, canoes and sail boards are available on request.

Derwent Retreat is surrounded by water, public parks and the yacht club with launching ramp are a short distance away. It is also close to a number of attractions including Mona, Bonorong Wildlife Park and a number of golf and bowls clubs.

Derwent Retreat is around a 15-minute drive (16 km) north of Hobart.
