Queenstown was originally established to service the booming copper fields of Mt. Lyell in the mid-19th century. Here you can visit the Mt. Lyell Mine and mining museum, or board the West Coast Wilderness Railway and travel through 35 kilometres of mountainous terrain to Strahan. Queenstown is a four-hour drive from Hobart (250 km) and a two-hour drive from Burnie (180 km).

Our upgraded Superior Queen rooms are all located on the ground floor. They consist of 1 Queen size Bed and a 2-Seater Sofa Couch, LCD flat screen TV with DVD player and iPod docking clock. Bedside drawers, electric blankets, table and chairs, wardrobe, fan, iron & ironing board. Microwave, Toaster, Crockery & Cutlery. All Queen Superior rooms have new floor coverings, new linen & towels and have been recently painted. Ideal for those looking for a little bit of extra comfort after a long day. WIFI is available as well as tea & coffee & Toaster in each room. Mini bar fridge. Private en-suite with shower over bath, hairdryer and complimentary toiletries.
