Gin Masterclass Walking Tour

Gin martini
Embark on an adventure through the Seaport district with the Gin Masterclass Walking Tour, led by the knowledgeable and passionate team at Launceston By Foot. This immersive experience offers gin lovers and curious explorers alike the perfect blend of history, taste, and hands-on learning. As you stroll along the waterfront, you'll dive deep into the fascinating history of gin, from its origins to its resurgence as a beloved spirit. The tour takes you to four of Launceston's boutique bars, each offering its unique atmosphere and carefully curated selection of Tasmanian gins. At each stop, you'll have the chance to meet the makers behind some of your favourite local gins. These passionate distillers will share their stories, insights, and the craftsmanship that goes into creating their signature spirits. Along the way, you'll also enjoy a paired food experience that complements the flavours of the gins you sample, enhancing your tasting journey. This year’s tour concludes at Bar Urbane, where the cocktail masters from Rude Boy will lead an exciting gin cocktail masterclass. You'll learn the art of crafting the perfect gin cocktail. Whether you're a gin connoisseur or just looking to try something new, the Gin Masterclass Walking Tour is the perfect way to explore Launceston, one sip at a time.
