RAWspace x Mona Foma

Chua and Chester We (and the Theatre Royal) are thrilled to announce the recipients of the inaugural RAWspace x Mona Foma sound project: Chua + Chester, with their project Sastrugi—Sounds of the Antarctic Sea Ice. The project—by Sean Minhui Tashi Chua and Diana Chester—combines the techniques of sonification, field recording, and musique concrète to craft immersive soundscapes that narrate the vanishing of sea ice in the Antarctic and Southern Ocean. There will be two opportunities to engage with the project—these are free events, but you’ll need to register, as spaces are limited. FREE
