The Roundabouts will play lively Tasmanian and other traditional music. The Ball will be at St James Hall, 462 Elizabeth St, New Town (off Rupert Ave) Your dance caller will be David "Oddsocks" Wanless and he'll teach all the dances and call them as the music plays. No dancing experience or partner is needed. We welcome all ages and identities are welcome. It’s always fun to dress to the theme so we encourage you to dress for a ball or a bushwalk. Use your imagination and improvise, but there’s no obligation! Tickets cost $7-22 To make staying hydrated easy please BYO water bottle. We have supper part-way through so please bring a plate of supper to share. Proceeds of the Buttongrass Ball will go to the Tasmanian National Parks Association who is working to protect our natural heritage.
