Bothwell Bi-Centenary Festival

Celebrating the 200th anniversary of this picturesque agricultural township in the Central Highlands Tasmania. The Bi-Centenary celebration of the township of Bothwell is being held in 2022. The Bothwell Historical Society state the town was established in 1822. These days, Bothwell draws tourists to its beautifully preserved historical buildings, pleasant pastoral landscapes, trout fishing and the oldest golf course in the Southern Hemisphere, 'Ratho'. It's a quiet, peaceful area powered by agriculture.
