It's Only Life

Autumn leaves on a clothes line with a man in glasses standing in front
Having had his songs performed by the likes of Judy Collins, Yo-Yo Ma, Art Garfunkel, Audra MacDonald, Patti LuPone and Liza Minnelli, Broadway’s John Bucchino is one of North America’s most successful songwriters. In this Australian Musical Theatre Festival exclusive, John Bucchino visits Launceston for one-night-only to present It’s Only Life. A musical revue based on life, longing, fear, fulfillment, and finding personal growth. Bucchino’s compositions were described by the New York Times as having “finely made piano ballads [that] describe an urban life in which relationships come and go in cycles of yearning, fulfillment, heartbreak and healing.” This story of love with “high expectations, high anxiety, and open hearts” (New York Times), features faces new to the Festival, as well as those returning, including Josh Piterman, Patrice Tipoki, Kerrie Anne Greenland, Queenie van de Zandt, Tyran Parke, and Tasmanian locals Nicole Farrow, Samantha Hammersley and more!
