Cyclists of all types are invited to Ben Lomond to challenge themselves with a 17.7km uphill gravel road race. The race will see you climb 1050m through eucalypt bushland, past boulder fields, up the infamous Jacobs Ladder, and across an alpine plateau to the finish line! Prepare for a unique opportunity to experience this incredible route, while competing for the chance of winning $500 (donated by Howell Property Group)! There are more prizes too! Teens as young as 13 are invited to join the junior race where the winner will receive $300! Sponsors Ben Lomond Alpine Resort are donating all-inclusive ski lift and rental gear tickets for skiing this winter, as well as snow play hire packages and some fantastic merchandise as spot prizes. If you love climbing big hills or just setting yourself a challenge then this event is for you! Riders will assemble at the Ben Lomond Base for registration from 8.00 am setting off in two groups. The Breakaway categories (for those taking a slower pace) and the E-bikes set off at 9.30 am and the remaining categories leave at 10.00 am (including U19s). After reaching the village and enjoying the spectacular views of Ben Lomond, riders can make their way back to Ben Lomond Base for a BBQ lunch, drinks and presentations.
