Mawson's Huts Replica Museum 10th anniversary celebration

It's 10 years since the Mawson's Huts Replica Museum opened on Hobart's waterfront and we are celebrating with a free, family fun day. From 10 am on Sunday 3 December 2023 the Replica Museum will be open and complemented by Antarctic-related activities including a dog-sled team, science demonstrations, a walking tour of the waterfront highlighting areas of historical Antarctic significance, wandering Antarctic characters, and face-painting. The launch of the 2024 Australian Antarctic Festival is also planned to occur during this event
