Table Cape Sensory Walk with Light House
Apart of the Permission to Trespass event the Table Cape Sensory Walk has been created between the Table Cape lookout and the Table Cape Lighthouse in Tasmania's North West. This easy 30 minute (one way) undulating gravel path walk incorporates a geo location triggered sound walk which was developed by Rachel Meyers, a renowned Tasmanian sound artist, composer and musician has a passion for listening deeply to the land. The field recordings taken allow you to listen to the sounds of this ancient geological structure in ways that are usually beyond the human experience. Designed to be experienced as a multi-sensory walk taking in the views, flora and fauna of Table Cape. The soundtrack, is accessed through a downloadable app for a mobile device. Starting at the Table cape lookout car park, and the QR code for the app can be downloaded there onto your device. It is free of charge available at any time.
