This is the first time the National Over 70s Championships have been hosted in Tasmania. Based In Launceston the best veteran cricketers from every state and New Zealand will compete for the National title as well as the chance to represent their country. But it's more than cricket! This is a great opportunity for all players and their partners to enjoy all the North has to offer - the Tamar region's food and drink, stunning experiences from Freycinet on the East Coast and golf at Barnbougle to Cradle and beyond in the North West. And then there's the rest of the state. You'll need to come a week early or stay on after the cricket so you can visit the spectacular West, Hobart and its surroundings - the Huon, Tasman Peninsula and the Derwent Valley.
