Survival & Emergency Preparedness Course - Hobart

survival and emergency preparedness course - basic survival bushcraft course australia
In truth, we don’t know when we might become lost or stranded and find ourselves in an emergency situation that we have not planned for, which is why even a basic survival course will help. Sometimes, these emergency situations can even come in the form of a natural disaster situation close to home (as it can with flooding or bushfires etc), which can take us out of our comfort zone. Quite simply, the better prepared you are, the better you'll cope with a given emergency situation. Regardless of whether you’re a hiker, interstate or international visitor doing the Overland Track or other Tassie hikes, climber, kayaker, hunter, 4WD enthusiast, someone who enjoys the great outdoors or anyone who has to work in remote areas – core survival and wilderness skills can definitely save your life! SCT’s 1-day Survival & Emergency Preparedness Course is designed to teach you the critical survival techniques needed in case of emergency in a wilderness environment and is an ideal introduction to the essential skills of survival and bush craft, which leads into our other courses.
