Central North Tour

Ashgrove Cheese
This is another district of the North-West region that has so much on offer for foodies to explore. There is wine, saffron and cheeses. The venison farm lies in a tranquil setting in the foothills of the Great Western Tiers. See the hops growing and taste a unique brew of beer. We do a tour of the salmon/ginseng farm where you may even be lucky enough to spot one of the resident platypuses as we wander around the property. You will see the most amazing varieties of honey you are ever likely to come across, truffles when in season, and stop in at a smallgoods outlet who do an amazing job creating delicacies made from the local farm produce. Inclusions include; pick up and drop off service at your Devonport location, commentary en-route, visit and talk at five to seven regional producers, tasting fees and local produce lunch.
