Charles Oates first ventured into the Huon in the mid-eighteen hundreds - an ex-convict and resourceful character, his descendants continue to work the land today.
We take their delicious apples, ferment them, then distil the fermented juice twice in our hand-beaten copper Charentais still – the same style the Frenchie's have been using for centuries.
