Richmond Bridge - Richmond, Tasmania
The historic town of Richmond is situated in the Coal Valley wine region, only 20 minutes from Hobart. The Georgian houses have been beautifully preserved. This convict-built town was once an important military post. Many of its old stone buildings have been converted into teashops, craft shops and galleries. This tour may also include the breathtaking views of Hobart from Mount Wellington. (Time and weather permitting). Highlights include: immerse yourself in convict history, visit Australia's oldest Catholic Church (St John's Church) still in use, travel across Australia and the oldest bridge, admire the stunning views from the summit of Mount Wellington (weather permitting), enjoy some Tasmanian wine, and wander around the quaint craft shops and galleries.
