Good fishing at Lake Cresent trout all released sept 2022
This is a hosted stay through Hipcamp, below is the information provided by the Host regarding their offering. Located on an isolated block on the high side of Lake Cresent. One of the hidden gems for fishing in The Great Lakes area of the highlands of Tasmania. Summer is short but picturesque. It snows for 8 months of the year, from April to November depending on how cold it is. Located 30 minutes from Oatlands and Bothwell - both amazing historical villages with awesome antique shops and a country town feel. Campsite is flat and circled by 6 Gigantic Pine trees, with a natural fire pit for singalongs by the fire. Oh, the serenity. Please be aware this is an empty block and no shops or facilities for 30 minutes - so campers must be self-sufficient. Please check all local fire bans before lighting a fire (usually in summer). Lake access is 2 minutes up the road via boat ramp.

Actively welcomes people with access needs.
