Vintage Day

Make some connections between our pioneering history and modern day. Dress up in vintage fashion (1850's or thereabouts) to win a prize, browse our vintage market and listen to entertaining museum speakers at our first FREE Vintage Day. Bring the whole family along for a FREE fun day of connections to history. The Deloraine Folk Museum will provide a speaker program to discuss the legend of Jimmy Possum. We will have a vintage market where you can browse wares and find that special something for your home. Best of all, come dressed in a historical costume and you could win a $100.00 gift voucher. Volunteers will be roaming the grounds to speak with you and answer all your historical questions. The Museum and Yarns Artwork in Silk will be free viewing all day together with these events, so what are you waiting for, get that costume ready now!
