Macquarie Manor, built in 1875 is a historic sandstone boutique Accommodation property ideally located in the Hobart CBD in close walking distance to all major attractions including the Salamanca markets, Battery Point and the Waterfront. The original residence of prominent Hobart Doctor, Dr Richard Stonehewer- Bright the Manor was designed by Henry Hunter who also designed many other notable Hobart buildings including the Tasmanian Museum and Art Gallery, St David's Cathedral and St Mary's Cathedral. Notable interstate buildings involved in included Eagle Farm Racecourse.
