The Winged House offers luxury self-contained accommodation at Table Cape on Tasmania's North West Coast. It is a serviced two ensuite bedroom house cantilevered over stunning rugged coast at Table Cape overlooking dramatic Bass Strait. The Winged House has been designed by award-winning architect Richard Goodwin and offers a gourmet kitchen, laundry, Japanese bath, digital television, DVD and hi-fi system, internet access, and barbecue facilities. The house is only ten minutes from Burnie/Wynyard regional airport serviced daily from Tullamarine, Melbourne, with interstate and international connections. The Winged House is within easy reach of World Heritage Gondwana old growth forests, trout fishing, short walks, wineries, golf, gardens and kayaking.

The master bedroom at The Winged House has ocean views, a spacious ensuite bathroom with Japanese bath, also with ocean views. The bathroom comes with romantic candles and generous body wash, shampoo and conditioner dispensers. There's a private book lined study with a PC for internet browsing. This room has a Japanese teak bed with luxury mattress and 1000 thread linen and fluffy towels, washers and slip-on slippers. (There's also a laundry in the bathroom behind high glossy bi-fold doors). The second bedroom also with ensuite is adorned in art. Japanese tatami mats with futons (mattresses) and donnas can be assembled in the lookout for extra guests.
