The Winged House

They are a boutique distillery offering behind the scenes tours with the distiller, where visitors get to understand the process of making our single malt whisky from start to finish. After the tour they get to taste the handmade spirits in the beautiful tasting room. Located at Table Cape on the rugged NW coast of Tasmania only 100mtrs off the Bass Highway 7kms from Wynyard. Please note, they are an Adult Only venue.

Alchymia Distillery is a boutique small batch craft distillery making Tasmanian whisky and gin on-site from the finest Tasmanian ingredients. Offering Distillery tours where you meet the maker and a tasting room where visitors can come and enjoy the view and soak up the 'spirit' of Table Cape, offering local produce platters you can grab a drink and a platter and relax in the distillery garden. Their tourism experience includes tastings, distillery tours, bottle sales, cocktails, full bar and platters of locally made produce featuring La Cantara Cheese & Inglis River Meats.

Here at Alchymia Distillery they grist, mash, ferment, distill and mature our single malt Whisky, on this tour Matt the head distiller and owner will take you behind the scenes to show you how they make the Single Malt Whisky from scratch here on site at Table Cape. He will also explain the process of Gin and Vodka making and then you can move to the tasting room to taste these beautiful handcrafted spirits.
