2 or 3 days and 3 nights of spectacular Tasmanian wildlife viewing and birdwatching in the northeast Tasmanian wilderness areas Day 1 - option of an evening on the Canopy Capers nocturnal forest tour. Experience the excitement and magic as nocturnal creatures appear from the bushes and trees in search of some tasty bush offerings. Day 2 - Visit the spectacular Ben Lomond showcasing its magnificent Tolkien landscape, travel via forest backroads to the Tyne Valley for a nature experience reviewed as one of Australia’s best - the Quoll Patrol. Enjoy a campfire dinner with the kangaroos and the ambience of a crackling campfire while sampling Tasmanian beverages before meeting some of Tasmania’s endearing wildlife characters focusing on the eastern quoll, pademelons and Bennett's wallaby, brush-tail possum, and wombat. Day 3 - Start with a hunt for the elusive and fascinating platypus and allows you to visit the picturesque northeast Tasmania coastal area at Mt William National Park and walk the long white beaches in the Bay of Fires region. Birds are abundant in Mt William National Park with honey eaters, wrens, robins, finches, and pardalotes found in the park.
