Wine and cheese with a difference - create your very own ceramic platter! Delve into the magic of clay with this hands-on creative experience at Fulton Creek Farm, a beautiful private property in the heart of North West Tasmania. Join an intimate group for a guided class with landowner and ceramic artist Anna McNeill. Learn the basics of hand-building with clay and create your very own ceramic platter. Upon arrival, you are invited to explore the immediate natural surrounds and forage for textural elements like seedpods, leaves and bark. You may also bring your own found objects; perhaps you have treasured shells, antique lacework or other items you find inspiring. These can all be used to add your own unique marks and patterns into your masterpiece. Let your creativity flow! All materials, tools and firing of your work is provided and light refreshments are included. Perfect for beginners as well as the experienced artist. Please book early as places are limited to ensure an intimate experience.

Lillico Beach is a coastal reserve and penguin colony near Devonport in north-west Tasmania. Just ten minutes west of Devonport, this narrow coastal strip is home to a colony of Little Penguins, also known as Fairy Penguins. At around 30 centimetres high and weighing in at just one kilo, the Little Penguin is the world's smallest penguin. From the reserve's viewing platform you can watch the birds return to their burrows each evening after a day of fishing in the open ocean. Local volunteers and Parks and Wildlife rangers are on-site during the breeding season (September to May) and summer months (mid-December to mid-February).

Don Market, is one of the oldest markets on the northwest coast of Tasmania and has been operating for over 50 years in 2026. A dynamic, ever evolving market boasts both indoor and outdoor stalls(weather permitting). A great range of stalls - from fresh fruit and vegetables, to plant stalls, regular craft and makers products, new handbags, bric-a-brac and so much more and a sit-down or takeaway cafe in the back of the hall. They have regular weekly stallholders and also transient stalls which come alternate weeks or even just drop in once or just now and then. This adds to the interest and the market is usually not the same two weeks in a row. The hall itself shares some historical values, maintaining its old-fashioned façade and noticeboards of years gone by, and from the Don Memorial Hall, where the market is held, you can look across the road to the Don River and the popular Don Railway.
