Bushy Summers sits on beautiful Lettes Bay. It's been lovingly restored into a cosy waterfront hideaway where you can completely relax, unwind and enjoy the wilds of Tasmania's West Coast. The cabin accommodates two people with a double bed and bath. And is full of our own personal books, linen and treasures. Your day will unfold gently, waking to the sound of birdsong or the quack of the resident ducks as they wander up and down the bay expecting something delicious to be thrown their way. The views from the house are stunning and will tempt you to explore.

Tracks on Point Cafe

Fully licensed, Tracks on Point is a lovely spot to while away an hour or two with friends either in front of the fire or on the station platform. We provide a delicious menu and specialise in a unique collection of burgers, shakes and pancakes. Call in for a glass of wine from the extensive all-Tasmanian wine list or try a craft beer. We also serve arguably the best onion rings in Tassie!

This experience is currently unavailable, however, alternate journey options operate year-round. West Coast Wilderness Railway continues to operate railway departures whilst several sections of the railway are undergoing maintenance. This half-day (5 hour) journey takes you from the shores of Macquarie Harbour into the ancient rainforest and mountains of Tasmania’s rugged west coast. Hear stories of the landscape and wilderness from your onboard guide and wonder how the men and women of the rail once carved their lives out of this harsh environment. Admire the extraordinary engineering achievement as you cross Iron Bridge, and see the remains of the 244-metre trestle bridge at Quarter Mile. Stop at remote stations and take in the western wilderness. A short walk through the cool, temperate rainforest at Dubbil Barril station is a must before returning to Strahan. Please note: West Coast Wilderness Railway will close temporarily for maintenance from 5 June, resuming service in time for the 23/24 peak season.
