Sometimes, the simplest pleasures in life are often the best. This sums up Cloudy Bay Cabin; an unpretentious and welcoming timber cottage surrounded by South Bruny National Park - just meters from the beautiful Cloudy Bay beach. The Cabin is well positioned for families of young children keen to splash in the shallows – or teenagers prepared to walk to the nearby surf break. Walkers will be delighted too, with kilometres of shoreline to explore, as well as 350 acres of private bushland to share with no one but local wildlife. This unspoiled seclusion is located more than 30 minutes from the nearest store, so it is recommended visitors to the cabin bring their own provisions to make the most of this beautiful setting.

Cloudy Bay Cabin

It may be simple, but the cabin is very comfortable, with modern, quality furniture and luxurious linen. To maintain the unspoiled nature of the area, Cloudy Bay Cabin relies on solar power and bottled gas to provide the means for most modern conveniences (but not a washing machine). The cabin has two bedrooms and sleeps six (master bedroom: king bed; second bedroom; two double bunks; fold-out couch: double bed) – with room for more to camp on the expansive grass recreation area outside. The clean and practical kitchen has views out through the covered veranda to the beach beyond. A rustic eight-seater dining table provides the perfect spot for lunch, dinner or a family Scrabble challenge.
