One of Tasmania's premium attractions Trowunna Wildlife Sanctuary located at Mole Creek, Trowunna is recognised as a world leader in Wildlife conservation. There are three free daily tours as part of your admission price. On tour, you can interact with a Devil and a Wombat and view a Tasmanian devil social feeding. Trowunna Wildlife Sanctuary is open daily from 9 am to 5 pm. Daily interactive tours are conducted at 11 am, 1 pm and 3 pm. Learn all about Trowunna's breeding programs including our work in helping save the Tasmanian Devil. Car and coach parking is available on site Group bookings and private tours are welcome and Devil and/or Wombat full-day workshops are available. Trowunna Wildlife sanctuary is set in 82 acres of native bushland at Mole Creek and is a must-see experience. The Sanctuary is within easy reach of both the world-famous Cradle Mountain and Mole Creek caves and is an essential inclusion as part of a fantastic day trip.

Mole Creek Caves are located in the Mole Creek Karst National Park, in the central north of Tasmania about 40 minutes drive west of Deloraine. There are two caves Marakoopa and King Solomons caves open to the public with tours operating every day of the year excluding Christmas day. If you plan to visit Both Marakoopa and Kings Solomon's Caves, remember that it will take about 15 minutes to drive between caves. Entrance to the caves is by tour only. The tours run for 45 minutes. Tickets for all three tours are available from the Mole Creek Caves Visitor Centre at 330 Mayberry Road, Mayberry about 600 metres before the entrance to Marakoopa Cave. Eftpos, Visa, Mastercard, and cash are accepted. Marakoopa Cave Underground Rivers and Glow Worms: Daily 10am, 12pm and 2pm. Additional tours are offered 4pm from 1 October to May 31. Great Cathedral and Glow Worms: Daily 11am, 1pm and 3pm. King Solomons Cave Daily 10:30, 11.30am, 12.30, 1:30, 2.30 and 3.30pm.

Marakoopa Cave is a decorative limestone cave in the Mole Creek Karst national park. It has large chambers, two active stream systems, beautiful cave formations and the largest public display of glow worms in Australia. There are two tours available, the Underground Rivers and Glow Worms or the Cathedral and Glow worms. The Underground rivers tour is the easiest, the Cathedral tour has 250 steps taking you up to a large amphitheatre where singing is encouraged. Both tours are beautiful. The Mole Creek Karst National Park is in the central north of Tasmania, about 40 minutes' drive west of Deloraine. While you're here, take time to wander along the Fern Glade track, this track follows Marakoopa creek and meanders through giant tree ferns, old myrtles and beautiful rainforest, if lucky may see the elusive platypus.
