Located between the township of Currie and the harbour, Bicentennial Lookout is a peaceful reserve offering elevated views across Currie Harbour, the fishing port and across to the Currie Lighthouse. The sheltered grassy area features a raised lookout, open picnic spaces and walking tracks, making it an ideal spot to relax, enjoy a picnic or take in a spectacular sunset. Popular with locals and visitors alike, the lookout provides a wonderful vantage point from which to experience the island's maritime atmosphere and dramatic coastal scenery.

Nestled in the heart of main street Currie, next door to the famous King Island Bakehouse, is the King Island Meat Providore. The King Island Meat Providore was established by local families to showcase some of the islands best primary producers. Inside the Providore you will find a range of local beef and lamb products, along with locally made condiments, which can be devoured at one of the many free barbeque facilities located around the island.
