While in Stanley why not indulge in a High Tea with all the trimmings. The beautiful high teas are served on three-tier stands alongside the Royal Albert crockery and polished silver cutlery. High teas are served in our guest dining room on tables decorated with embroidered tablecloths, napkins and freshly picked flowers. The in-house High Teas include three ribbon sandwiches, two mini savories, two mini scones with Tasmanian raspberry jam and cream, three mini sweets, seasonal fruit and unlimited loose-leaf tea. Bookings are essential. Two days notice is required. Restrictions apply. No walk-ins as this is also a B&B. A mobile high tea service is also available to guests staying in local Stanley Accommodations at no extra charge.

The Circular Head Show, held in Stanley provides the community with the district's major agricultural event. The show provides entertainment, and fundraising for local service groups, exhibitors and competitors with the opportunity to showcase their wares at a traditional country show. The Circular Head Agricultural Society would like to thank the judges, sponsors, exhibitors, and volunteers who help to create this event each year. Please note that the Circular Head Show is a smoke-free event, providing a great day of entertainment for the whole family.

You might see the muddy boots left outside the door where our local farmers have popped in for a drink after dropping off their freshly dug potatoes or have a yarn to Stanley’s fisherman who provides us with our seafood just back from their daily catch. We provide the usual pub fare with a stylish twist plus on-trend restaurant dishes influenced by what we see out our windows – seafood, great steaks and farmed abalone. Our suppliers are our friends and are just as likely to be sitting at the table next to you. Friendly, open and knowledgeable staff will make you feel very welcome. The Bistro is warm and spacious with views of the amazing sunsets. The original stone cellars under the Hotel house our fine selection of wine including a great Tasmanian selection.
