Specialising in 100% Tasmanian produce, the 'General Store' is a one stop shop showcasing the best of Tasmania in a unique space including a bar, cafe and providore all in one. The store is located in the heart of Devonport, at 38 Steele Street, just 5 minutes from the Spirit of Tasmania terminal. Call in and try the impressive selection of wine, beer & spirits along with a platter created exclusively from Tasmanian produce. They also offer coffee and cake inside our cosy cafe. Their providore has an obscure and fascinating array of products including food, books, giftware and much more. They also have a range or ready made and custom hampers available to suit any budget or occasion. The bar is open until 8pm each Friday evening serving beer, wine, spirits house cocktails and platters.

The place to be. The Central Bar and Lounge at The Formby Hotel in Devonport really is the place to meet. Locals and visitors enjoy a range of beers, wine, top shelf, cocktails, and entertainment from Thursday through to Sunday. The Central attracts young and old with bands and service previously only found in much larger cities. Live Music Friday nights from 7 pm.
