Built in 2025, Solitude Bicheno was designed around the belief that rest should be intentional. Focused on stillness, simplicity, and gentle ritual, this sanctuary lets you step away from everyday life and reconnect with yourself, whether you're travelling solo or as a couple. Every element has been considered to support a slower rhythm: one that allows for restoration, clarity, and calm. A soft green palette runs throughout, bringing the tones of the surrounding landscape inside. A yoga mat is provided for your own practice, and the space has intentionally excluded connectivity, with no TV or WiFi, to offer a deliberate disconnect and invite you to take the time to go within. Wherever possible, Bicheno and Tasmanian tradespeople have been engaged to build this space, ready for you to enjoy. Outside, the garden is currently a work in progress and is designed to work with, not against, the dry coastal climate: large natural boulders, native bushland, and slow-growing Tasmanian plantings, built for quiet rather than show. It's a garden of stone and stillness as much as green, and it will only deepen with time. As part of your stay, a complimentary one-on-one yin yoga or guided meditation session.
