Sommerhaus 59
A peaceful coastal retreat where thoughtful design and natural beauty come together. Explore, relax and rejuvenate at Sommerhaus 59, proudly managed by Freycinet Holiday Houses. Named after the German word for "summer house" this beautifully renovated retreat is perched above the coastline with glimpses of the ocean and distant mountains, just a short stroll from Sandpiper Beach. Ideal for couples, small families or friends, the home combines warm Tasmanian timbers, abundant natural light and contemporary comfort with timeless charm. Clever solar-passive design keeps the home naturally cool in summer and warm, sunny and cosy throughout winter. The light-filled sunroom is the perfect place to enjoy a Nespresso coffee, read a book or watch native birds in the surrounding trees. The open-plan living area invites relaxation with large windows, comfortable furnishings and a unique indoor hanging chair, while the balcony is ideal for BBQs, outdoor dining and taking in the water and mountain views. Two beautifully appointed bedrooms provide a peaceful retreat after days spent exploring nearby beaches, Freycinet National Park and Tasmania's spectacular east coast. Sommerhaus 59 shares a driveway with Studio 59, a separate self-contained studio discreetly positioned behind the house with its own entrance. The studio may be occupied independently or booked together for larger groups while maintaining privacy. Whether you're seeking adventure or tranquillity, Sommerhaus 59 is the perfect place to reconnect.
