South Preston Dam Camp
This is a hosted stay through Hipcamp, below is the information provided by the Host regarding their offering. Pitch your tent or park your van next to one of our lovely dams. South Preston Dam Camp is home to running streams, waterfalls, platypus, free-range pigs, sheep along with stunning views. Visitors can enjoy swimming in the warmer months and lots of walking and exploring the rest of the year. Campers must be self-contained with their own toilet/shower facilities and must take all waste and rubbish with them on departure. Camp fires are welcome pending there are no restrictions and they must be kept contained. Access can be difficult after heavy rainfall and you will need to drive through opened paddocks and unformed tracks to campsites so please use caution. Locally located 20 mins drive to Ulverstone and a 10-minute drive to Leven Canyon, Preston falls and Gunns Plains so there is plenty to see and do in the surrounding area. 60 minutes drive to Cradle Mountain and 90 mins drive Tullah West coast. 30 mins Penguin and Devonport.

Actively welcomes people with access needs.
