Self-contained heritage-styled one, two & three bedroom cottages in a unique village setting set amid fragrant cottage gardens adjacent to the beach. Conveniently and centrally located adjacent to the beach and 50M from Tavern and Bakery/Cafe, shops and Restaurants. - your complete "home-away-from-home". Complimentary Wi-Fi. Parking adjacent to your cottage, BBQ facilities, and gazebo. Two-bedroom cottages can accommodate up to six guests. Three bedrooms - 7 guests. Your choice of bedding configurations from two x queen beds (Dove Cottage) to Q+S and King Single + bunk beds(Pier, Cherry, Swan Family Cottages) to Q=S and KS & Single bed (Kirby Cottage) Traditional heritage style with your own private veranda surrounded by English-style gardens. A well-equipped kitchen with microwave, oven, fridge, rice cooker, and sandwich maker. Open plan with dining family/lounge room with separate bedrooms. All have a queen-sized bed in the main bedroom whilst second bedroom may have either a twin single, single bed and bunk for family accommodation or another queen-sized bed. All have a bathroom with shower and hairdryer. Bayview Cottage has a spa upstairs in the timber-lined bedroom. Your own, fully equipped "private-laundry", washer, dryer, iron and ironing board, IDD telephone. Comfortable, exceptionally well-equipped accommodation.

Suite (Sherbourne Lodge)

Beautifully equipped and very comfortable lodge-style accommodation for guests not requiring fully self-contained cottage accommodation. We offer a range of comfortable well equipped motel suites in double, family (3) and attic spa configurations. Breakfast is available. Complimentary Wi-Fi in all rooms plus throughout the property. Free parking at your door. All contain a plush queen-sized bed, ensuite with hairdryer and quality guest amenity packs, full dining setting, settee, LCD television and DVD player, microwave, jug and toaster as well as tea/coffee/hot chocolate. Set amidst fragrant cottage gardens these motel rooms are air conditioned and use climate controlled heating. A barbecue/gazebo is available for guest use as well as guest laundry facilities, tennis courts, bicycles, DVD library and fishing rod hire. (A fee may apply to some items). Laundry Facilities are available. Please see reception for access. Close to Tavern/Bakery/cafe (50m) as well as shops and touristy attractions. Historic Swansea Barkmill (50M), Kate's Berry Farm, Beaches, Wineries, Restaurants, Shops, Cafes as well as close proximity to waterfalls, Freycinet, Douglas Apsley and Maria Island National Parks. Just be sure to allow at least several days to explore the area and all its pristine features.

Melshell Oyster Shack provides a superior oyster experience from our farm in Great Oyster Bay. Premium Natural Oysters together with other local seafood and cheeses. For adventurous guests, a self cook kebab experience at your table is a must. Look out for our iconic funky blue van at Yellow Sandbanks, Dolphin Sands Tasmania. Just 15 minutes north of Swansea. Discover our farm's story and meet the family. Visitors have described our produce as "Blindingly Fresh" and "Dolly Parton Plump". Sit on the river bank at Moulting Lagoon and enjoy the freshest oysters and learn all about the growing process. Many activity options: shucking lessons, wander around our shell gardens, check out our aquarium or sit on the jetty and dip your toes into the cool waters. We are 3 km from the access to Nine Mile Beach a stunning white sand swimming beach with amazing views of the Freycinet Peninsula. Takeaway is also available.

Spring Vale Vineyard

Cranbrook

Spring Vale Vineyard is a small, family-owned winery at Cranbrook, on Tasmania's East Coast. Cranbrook is a 15-minute drive north of Swansea (10 km) and a forty-five-minute drive from the Freycinet National Park (50 km). First planted in 1986, the 32 hectare vineyard produces Pinot Noir, Gewurztraminer, Pinot Gris, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay and Sparkling wines. Spring Vale is known for its intense varietal wines, which reflect the ideal growing conditions of the East Coast. The Freycinet region is renowned for having the greatest hours of sunlight in Tasmania, a contributing factor in the intensity and structure of Spring Vale wines. All vineyard operations are carried out by hand, and wines are made on-site. The winery is owned and operated by the Lyne family. Built in 1842, the original Spring Vale homestead is one of the oldest properties on the East Coast and has been in the Lyne family since 1875. You can taste Spring Vale's range of fine wines at the cellar door and sales room, located in the original convict-built stables.
