Built by hand by convicts in 1825, and restored in 2005, it was judged the best Tasmanian restoration and best Australian restoration 2005, 2006.

The Woodbridge is situated in the heart of the picturesque Derwent Valley. Just 30 minutes to Hobart, it is 45 minutes from the airport, 15 minutes from Mona and Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary, minutes from the historic Salmon Ponds and the Agrarian Kitchen, and a short drive to Mt Field National Park, wineries, distilleries, microbreweries, antique shops and art facilities.
Typically a Suite contains at least one bedroom and a completely separate lounge/living room without beds. Our suites are spacious, all have fireplaces, and two have direct access to the Terrace.

No previous kayak experience is required to participate, just arrive at the pre-arranged departure point and we take care of the rest!
