Meander Valley Vineyard Escape

A family run vineyard, located in the Cradle Coast region where premium, cool climate Tasmanian wines and special memories are made. Our well-established, scenic vineyard grows the cool climate classics Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Gris, plus a unique French-American hybrid Baco Noir. From these, award-winning local winemakers create a perfect range of Sparkling Rose, Pinot Gris, Old Block Pinot Noir, and highly original Baco Noir. We welcome visitors for tasting and wines by the glass or bottle along with local produce platters. We’re a short and easy drive from the Devonport ferry and Launceston airport, in the lush Meander Valley. Stay a while in our spacious and beautifully appointed vineyard accommodation.

The Truffle Farm Tasmania was the first truffle farm in Australia and showcases the history of how they were first grown on their property and the 10-year-long experiment that led their family farm to make history. Offering on site truffle hunts where guests can watch the truffle dogs in action and even have the opportunity to dig up some magic of their own! They also have a farm-gate shop where they sell all the boutique truffle products and fresh truffles.

Join the truffle dogs on a hunt for rare black truffles. This 1 hour and 15 minute experience provides insight on all things truffle and takes you into the trufferie to unearth a truffle with your own hands. After unearthing hidden treasure you are invited to sample a tasting of our truffle products. This experience is for those who just want a truffle story, a hunt but no lunch.
