Waratah On York is a charming heritage-listed Victorian-style mansion located just 10 minute's walk from Launceston city centre. Waratah On York offers individually decorated rooms with high ceilings and many original features from 1863. Some rooms also feature a spa bath and views of the Tamar River. We have kept the authentic feel, whilst adding modern touches for your comfort to ensure a relaxing stay. This unique Launceston accommodation features off-street parking and complimentary Wi-Fi access. As the building is located on the top of a hill, the access from the car parking area is via stair access only (approximately 25 stairs). Some rooms are located on the 1st floor and are only accessible by using stairs. Please note that this property does not have an elevator. Waratah On York overlooks Launceston City Park and is a 10-minute walk from the heart of the city and a 15-minute walk from the Queen Victoria Museum and Art Gallery.
