Goliath Park, Railton

For a relaxed stay in a grassed flat campground, look no further than Railton RV Park. Located within an easy drive from the Spirit of Tasmania Port at Devonport this can be your base when arriving or leaving the Apple Isle. The RV Park caters for fully self-contained RVs only, and they provide a wastewater dump point, potable water and a happy hour shelter with a barbecue and fire pit. It is pet-friendly as long as they are on a lead at all times. The on-site Park Custodian will welcome you to the park, site you and help with things to see and do around the area.

The Grand Ole Topiary Cottage is located in Railton, the Town of Topiary, Tasmania, Australia and is centrally located to Latrobe and Sheffield. The two-bedroom cottage sleeps five comfortably. The property contains one queen room, and one twin room (with two single ensembles) that can accommodate an extra single. Other accommodation inclusions; full kitchen, full bathroom (laundry)and toilet. The back veranda which overlooks a tranquil garden has been furnished with a small table and chairs and provides the perfect base to ensure a leisurely wine or coffee. The front veranda provides another space to relax and contains two full-size garden seats. Simply furnished with lots of charm, a little old with a splash of new furniture all fashioned from local Tasmanian timbers. Your accommodation is fully self-contained. Just a five-minute stroll to the local takeaway, fish and chips, cafe, hairdresser, coffee shop, pizza shop, pub, brewery, pharmacy, metal fabrication business, RSL Club and the Railton Bowls Club. You may see wallabies and kookaburras or even hear crickets sing whilst at the cottage, which is not uncommon in the area. Grand Ole Topiary Cottage is approximately a 20-min to one-hour drive in either direction to the city of Devonport (20 mins) or to the world-renowned Cradle Mountain, which is an approximate 1-hour drive.
