Clearwater Cabin
From a place in Tasmania, where the sheds lean under the weather, and the water weaves down the mountains, sits a cabin. Nestled in a wildlife corridor on the edge of world heritage listed rainforest, Clearwater cabin is the ultimate retreat to relax or explore the Great Western Tiers, Cradle mountain, and all that northern Tasmania has to offer. Unplug from the modern world and recharge in this cosy, rustic cabin set in spectacular beauty in a pristine part of Tasmania. The cabin was built in the early 80's out of local hardwood, and it sits above a private creek which you can hear running from all parts of the property. The cabin is beautiful, charming, and filled with unique touches. There is a large, open kitchen/lounge room, as well as a toilet and shower downstairs and a loft upstairs housing two bedrooms. There are two bunk beds in one bedroom and a queen bed in the other, separated by a set of lockable doors. In addition to the indoor shower, there's an outside shower and bath located in a greenhouse attached to the main dwelling as well as a fire bath overlooking the stream. Water is fresh Tasmanian rain and mountain stream water gravity-fed to the cabin.
