Walton House is situated near the Huon River with a beautiful outlook in the heart of the Huon. Have it both ways with the serenity of the countryside, yet accessible to the beaches, mountains, local amenities and attractions. The primary residence of Walton House is over 100 years old. Their guests enjoy using the guest accommodation adjacent to the private home. You can come and go as you please. You will have access to the guest accommodation independently for the entire stay, with easy check-in and check-out, ample parking, free WiFi, and beautiful amenities. Rooms are immaculately appointed, and you will experience a relaxed stay directed only by your own itinerary. A short walk into Huonville and easy access to local sights and attractions will ensure you have a memorable stay. Two guest suites are available with fabulous common areas, including the guest lounge and courtyard. The area is known for amazing bushwalking, kayaking and all types of nature-based activities. The site is close to annual shows and events such as Taste of Huon and the Cygnet Folk Festival, regular local markets, music venues and Farmgate sales, some running each weekend. Try the delicious local fruit, vegetables, seafood and meat. Add some fresh herbs and seasonal produce from the abundant organic garden. Onsite there are kayaks and bikes for campers to use (deposit required). Located in Ranelagh, 2 minutes from Huonville, 45 minutes from Hobart, 20 minutes from Cygnet and 10 minutes from Franklin. Your hosts offer a beautiful paddock and yard in the amazing Huon Valley. The site is situated on a small farm with animals and gardens on the edge of residential convenience. Pets are welcome as are campfires in the designated fire pit.
