A wine touring event like no other. Over fifty vineyards across Tasmania's key southern wine regions will throw open their doors to guests from the 25th to 28th February 2027. Celebrating the 30th anniversary of this iconic event, the 2027 Southern Open Vineyards Weekend will see wine lovers from around Australia come together to meet the masterminds behind some of Tasmania's most loved wine labels, many of whom don't usually operate a cellar door. Southern Open Vineyards Weekend is a chance for winemakers to proudly showcase their work, but more than that, it gives the hardworking winemakers the opportunity to meet and get to know the people who enjoy their wine. Visit producers across the Derwent Valley, Coal River Valley, Huon Valley / D'Entrecasteaux Channel, Tasman Peninsula and Hobart regions. Winemakers are a jovial bunch so you can count on them to pull out all stops when it comes to hosting, with many vineyards offering live music and food options created especially for the weekend
