Red Robins Nest is a charming rustic tiny house in the bush, just 10 minutes drive from Hobart CBD. There is a queen loft bed, kitchenette space, shower and access to a pit toilet available. It is a unique place to stay in a beautiful setting. Located just 15 minutes drive from the MONA Museum of New and old art which is popular for many, with plenty to see, do and eat on site. The famous Salamanca Markets are on every Saturday from 8.30 am to 3 pm where you will find fresh produce from local farmers, hot coffee and delicious breakfast and lunch options, lots of gift ideas and plenty of handmade products. Explore the many bays and recreation reserves along the Derwent River, the perfect place for a picnic on a sunny day. For those feeling more adventurous, we are located 40 minutes from Mount Wellington Nature Reserve offering trails for walking, horseback riding and cycling, plus rock climbing. The summit of Mount Wellington offers stunning views across Hobart and is well worth the visit.

"Karinya" - an amazing waterfront apartment, offering guests the perfect peaceful getaway with "postcard" water views. The ideal base to start or finish your holiday or just to soak up the beauty of Tasmania has to offer. Only a 10–15-minute drive to the Hobart CBD and the same to the Airport, with wheelchair access and a disabled toilet and shower. Open plan modern kitchen, dining and lounge area, all with views of the water. The main bedroom has a comfy queen size bed with walk-in robe and a wheelchair-accessible bathroom and toilet with a wide roll-in shower. The other bedroom is located at the other end of the apartment giving it a private feel, also with a Queen size bed, and its own bathroom and robe, as well as its own reading nook. The kitchen has all the modern appliances including coffee machine. There is a washing machine and clothes dryer. The lounge has a smart TV and DVD. The home is divided into to two apartments upstairs permanently occupied and Karinya Downstairs. (access between the two properties are securely locked). The apartment is all on one level with a wheelchair ramp. Outdoor seating and BBQ or walk in the garden boarding the the water. There is a designated car park for one car in front the apartment and non-metred parking on the street.

The 2nd bedroom has two comfortable single beds and the double glazing throughout will ensure a peaceful night's sleep, also in the lounge, one of the lounges converts into a comfortable sofa bed. If you feel like cooking, the kitchen is fully equipped including a dishwasher and microwave. However, with the large array of wonderful restaurants so close by, why would you want to cook! The laundry has a washing machine/dryer combo and there’s a fully fenced private backyard with an outdoor setting for your morning coffee.
