Why come to the National Penny Farthing Championships 2026? Because it's unlike anything else in Australia. It's quirky and wonderful with a whole lot of fun. The streets of historic Evandale will come alive on the 21st of February with bikes, energy, and sheer eccentricity of the Penny Farthing races—an event that is as much about people and place as it is about competition, ongoing since 1983. In 2026, a new committee is bringing fresh energy and ideas, but the heart of the event remains the same: a warm welcome, community spirit, and plenty of joy. Whether you come to race, to cheer, or just to experience something truly different, the National Penny Farthing Championships in 2026 is where community, history, and joy collide.
