Targa Tasmania

Targa Tasmania in Ross
Experience the excitement of Targa Tasmania 2026, one of the world's most iconic tarmac rallies, taking place across Tasmania. Celebrating Tasmania's spectacular landscapes and winding country roads, this five-day motorsport event brings together classic and modern performance cars, skilled drivers and motorsport enthusiasts for an unforgettable journey across the island. Beginning in Launceston and finishing in Hobart, Targa Tasmania takes competitors through more than 2,000 kilometres of scenic sealed roads, including challenging closed-road rally stages across Northern Tasmania, the North West Coast and the West Coast. The 2026 event also introduces Targa Trofeo, a three-day rally experience. Based in Launceston, this shorter format features 24 closed-road stages across Northern, North West and Eastern Tasmania, concluding with a ceremonial finish in Launceston. Spectators can experience the action at designated viewing locations and enjoy the atmosphere as rally cars travel through Tasmania's regional towns and communities.
