"For over 70 years my family has been sourcing Premium award-winning Honey from the pristine Tarkine wilderness of Tasmania." - Robbie Charles. Blue Hills Honey 1955 is located in the small district of Mawbanna. Our Honey is produced by placing our near 2000 beehives deep in the heart of the ancient and primitive Tarkine rainforests. The wild rainforests of Tasmania are the only place in the world where the rare Leatherwood tree Eucryphia Lucida grows. Other varieties include Tasmanian Manuka, Blackberry and Meadow. Blue Hills Honey exports to many countries. Visit our farm shop, cafe, interpretation centre, process viewing and orchard with playground and experience the varieties of honey available from our Tarkine Apiaries and an Australian Mead selection. Cafe bookings recommended 0458 000 994 (10-3). Travel a further 8 km to the beautiful Dip Falls and the Big Tree. Honey and /Mead sales are currently Tuesday to Saturday 10 - 4. The self-service box is also available at all hours.
